I’m back with 2 more fun videos. I hope these next 2 fun videos are really helpful. I’m sharing as transparently as I know how. Stuff I wish someone had told me early in my marriage.

For more ideas about how conversations can change family culture, check out these podcasts and blogs with experts.

I hope you love them as much as we do. Seriously, I NEVER enjoy seeing myself on camera, but I think the message is worth the sacrifice.

Speaking of sacrifice, in this first of 2 More Fun Videos, I answer the question of why fun is sacred. This should make you very happy.

2 More Fun Videos, Expert on FUN!

I’m sort of a fun expert. Does that come across in my writing enough? I’m not sure.

But I want you to know how important fun is for your marriage and your family. So enjoy!

Today’s Fun Video #1

How can we find time to focus on our marriage when life is so busy and overwhelming?”

Today’s Fun Video #2

Would you believe some people find a “discussion” intellectually stimulating? Sure. But some people find a “discussion” synonymous with arguing. And wouldn’t ya know it, opposites attract!

The second of our 2 More Fun Videos gives you the trick for turning arguments back into conversations.

We’re stuck in a cycle of arguments that go nowhere. What can we do to communicate better?”

For some reason, the second video doesn’t want to embed. So please follow the above link if there’s no second video above here.

How’d I get so smart?

That’s funny! I never think of myself as an expert on anything. But I DO, really do, love sharing ideas I think might help people. And I usually have questions long before anyone else takes the time to send them to me.

So, if you have a question, don’t worry, it won’t shock me at all. You’d be surprised some of the stuff I’ve asked people about along the way. No question is too crazy, if you ask me.

Anyway, if you don’t know this about me, my dad was a gynecologist. When I was a kid, people always assumed I knew things long before I actually did. This made for some interesting conversations. Especially for Mom and Dad.

But my parents were so open to good questions. They didn’t always answer me immediately, but they NEVER made me feel stupid for asking.

A good question and a sense of humor are signs of intelligence! (Or, at least, that’s what I keep telling myself.😂)

So send questions and we’ll do more videos. Just for fun!

🙂

Please PRAY for 2 More Fun Videos

Please pray many people will view 2 More Fun Videos and find answers to empower them. We seriously want to change the culture one conversation at a time. That starts in families. Our families. (Find more videos here.)

And please pray folks will buy our books and share them with others. We truly believe for those who want to reboot their marriage and rediscover the marriage of their dreams, Marriage Conversations is terrific! And we LOVE all the ways Jesus took a woman from isolation to influence in one conversation, which I explored in The Well. (Shout out to my publishers, CrossRiver Media and Elk Lake Publishing.)

This month, CrossRiver Media is doing a full blitz of my book, Marriage Conversations. (You can get the first chapter FREE here.) PLEASE Share! All the videos, memes, podcasts, or articles CrossRiver is creating this month. Thank you very much.

We love to hear from YOU!

When do you feel the most heard? What is one of your most fun adventures with your spouse? Would you be kind enough to send me good questions for future videos?

Let’s Pray Together

Dear good Father, Thank You for giving us a sense of humor. We know You are relaxed and gracious with us, Your children. We see how well Jesus mixed rest with serious stuff. How He spent time with his closest friends. We know they had wonderful conversations, filled with questions. That sometimes He even ignored objections in order to stir imagination. Teach us to be like Him in our marriage and family. Bless us now, please, because that is Your heart’s desire. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
