I write about life. You know, the REAL stuff: struggles, victory, family, marriage, parenting, faith, self-doubts, the uncomfortable things no one talks about ever.
Why tell our most intimate, personal stories?Together, David and I decided to share our most private family stories in order to encourage others. We discovered that most families face common challenges.
The Sacred Process of Creating Companionship
Our family really loves the word sacred. And we like practical, too. If it doesn’t work, why bother, right? Still, finding practical strategies that work for your unique marriage and family and community is an extremely personal process. That’s one reason it’s sacred.
We all want to teach our children and grandchildren what it takes to build families rich in community and companionship.

A self-dubbed Coffee Cup Philosopher, I’m an education connoisseur and a life-long learner. I always try to put a snappy spin on all things spiritual because faith is never boring.
I’m a wife, mom, and most importantly, wink wink, a grandmother. David and I live in the country not far from Tyler, Texas. Married almost 40 years, we have 3 grown children, 2 sons-in-law, and 8 grandchildren (so far) ranging from newborn to 16 years old.
Yep, I love talking about my family, but we’re more interested in who YOU are!
