At Fireside Talk Radio, not all the Creativity and Art conversations we have fit in a neat box.
Often creativity and art just seem to slip into every conversation. For example, we get invitations to join others on their shows to talk about better communication skills.
Honestly, we just start out talking about how to have happier families and communities.
Can better conversations create better culture? You bet! Somehow — I can’t explain it — but apparently our family agrees creativity and art are essential to better conversations.
An obsession with creativity and art? Our accidental side passion? See what you think.

Best of all, a guest could be downloaded less than 100,000 times and still make the Top Ten! Perhaps because creativity and art keep popping up as an accidental theme.
Speaking of accidental, we were shocked when Anna’s first co-host moment on Fireside Talk Radio racked up thousands of downloads immediately. Find a button to all Anna’s episodes below.
With 72,105 downloads so far, her first episode is still very popular. From November 15, 2018: The Thanksgiving Kit: Hiding the Squirrel and Finding the Nuts with Anna Krafve Pierce,.
In another example, one of my personal all-time favorite episodes only dowloaded 18,644 so far. Check out Creativity: The Art of Messing Up with Anna Krafve about how the best art often starts as a mistake!

Life Made Better by Creative Friends
My life is so much better for all the creative, arty folks God gives me for friends! For instance, take Mary Ottman. As a personal favor to me, she leveraged her Nashville radio background and voiced our FTR opening and closing. After 5 years, I still LOVE hearing her voice as we go on air!
Mary’s podcast made this Top Ten list because she is one of the most talented, tender-hearted, creative women we know. You’ll love what she has to say about getting a message out. Something she does regularly as a professional speaker and trainer.
Or what about Frankie Picasso? She’s interviewed countless nonprofit leaders on her show, Mission Unstoppable. Frankie came on FTR early on because she knew I was petrified. You bet she’s a prolific artist. But her creative heart also finds expression in her devotion to helping others.
YOU are Creative
Whether you believe it or not, YOU are creative. We know it’s a fact because God says you’re made in His image.
I hope you are finding ways to express your creativity. No doubt about it, when we reflect God’s creativity, the world is a better place!
🙂
Cathy
We LOVE to hear from YOU!
How does your creative streak find expression? When has art comforted you? Who do you wish we could interview about creativity and art?
May we pray together?
Dear good Father, look at us, being Your kids and creating all kinds of things! How grateful we are be invited into creative processes by You, our Creator! We praise You because You made us to be just like You, taking joy in creating. Thank You for all the art around us that You made: the sky, the mountains, the ocean, other people. Teach us to wonder, to marvel, at Your glory in each other. Thank You, dear heavenly Father, for surrounding us with people who can guide us in our creative endeavors. Bless us now, dear Lord, because that is Your heart’s desire. In Jesus name. Amen.
